Officer in Charge Operational Skills Detachment (US Army) JAN24 –JUN24
Operational Skills Detachment, unit internal training, research, development, technology fielding of radio signal processing, robotics, social media analysis, and drone technologies
- Designed, developed, and built a commercial radio signal collection device using a raspberry pi and software-defined radio antenna. Instructed 25 users on the implementation of this device.
- Commercial Radio Analysis Machine (CRAM). Led a team of researchers from the Norwich University Applied Research Institute on the design, development, and implementation. Trained a Deep Neural Network to categorize commercial radio signals to analyze radio broadcasts. Used machine translation and transcription to input radio content into a SQL database.
- Designed and developed social media scraping and analysis tools to be utilized on our synthetic training internet.
AI/ML Research Intern MIT Lincoln Laboratory FEB24 – DEC24
MIT Lincoln Laboratory is a US federally funded research and development center
- Researched transformer based natural language processing and causal inference to map social influence networks across various social media platforms.
- Developed python code using pytorch and tensorflow for gathering and processing millions of social media posts.
- Presented research methodologies and results to senior military commanders.
- Mentored and developed cadet interns on the development of a voice to text translation application written in python using transformer based transcription and translation.

Served as an Engineer and Psychological Operations Officer during a 13 year career
- Led soldiers in training and combat conditions at detachment, platoon, and company level. Developed and evaluated subordinate leaders while accomplishing the mission.
- Responsible for the safeguarding, maintenance, and accountability of tens of millions of USD of government equipment.
- Briefed and clearly communicated to leaders at all levels including General Officers.
